Case study · Prestige Homes · Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt
£34 to win a customer worth £1,300.
Prestige Homes paints and deep-cleans homes for English-speaking internationals in Germany. I ran their Meta ads, built the landing page, wrote every line of copy and made the video and graphic ads. Leads came in at £7–10 for cleaning and around £12 for painting. Sales conversion went from 11% to 35%.

02 · THE LANDING PAGE
A page that answers every reason to say no.
Germany’s expat professionals can afford a premium job. What they can’t do is chase quotes in German, take days off for tradespeople, or gamble on a price that changes halfway through. Prestige Homes was built for them, in three cities and two services.
SERVICE 1
Interior and exterior painting
Room refreshes, full flats, cabinet resprays and house exteriors.
SERVICE 2
Deep cleaning
Move-out cleans and post-construction cleans for new builds.

02 · THE LANDING PAGE
A page that answers every reason to say no.
I built the page with Claude and wrote all the copy. It doesn’t sell paint. It sells a flat you’re proud of, then removes every worry standing between the reader and the quote form.
The hero: an emotional promise, a deadline, and one button. “Takes 30 seconds. No commitment required.”
The problem section names the reader’s worries in their own words, including the “price mystery”.
Sell the outcome, not the service
“Your Berlin flat deserves to be a sanctuary.” Nobody wants paint. They want to stop living in a generic rental.
1
Name the fears out loud
Hidden prices, a messy flat, no time to manage it. Each one gets an answer: a fixed quote, a room handed back every evening, a room-by-room schedule.
2
Take the risk off the table
Pay only when you’re happy, in two or three instalments, with a 7-year paint warranty. Saying yes costs nothing.
3
Stack the offer, set a deadline
A free quote, a free colour consultation valued at €150, and 20% off until the end of May. The form asks for a WhatsApp number, because that’s how expats reply.

03 · THE ADS
One campaign per service, so each could be judged on its own cost per lead.
I made the video and graphic ads myself and gave painting and deep cleaning their own campaigns. Each city ran its own campaigns. The five Berlin campaigns below brought in 114 leads at an average of £7.80. The cheapest was mould removal and deep cleaning: 47 leads at £5.34 each, with a 1.18% click-through rate.
Meta Ads Manager, the five Berlin campaigns. Hamburg and Frankfurt ran separately and aren’t shown here. Deep-cleaning leads came in cheaper than painting leads: £5.34 to £7.84, against £7.98 to £12.38.

04 · WHY IT WORKED
Three decisions behind the numbers.
Speak their language, literally
English from the first ad to the final walkthrough. For this audience, that alone set Prestige Homes apart from most of the market.
Test the angle, don’t assume it
Some ads led on price: “Stop overpaying for sloppy paint jobs.” Others led on removing risk: satisfaction and re-clean guarantees, pay when happy. Running both let the market show what this audience actually responds to.
Measure each service on its own
A campaign per service showed exactly what a painting lead and a cleaning lead cost, instead of one blended number that hides both.
The takeaway
Cheap leads are easy. Leads that close are the job.
A £7 lead is only worth something if it becomes a £1,300 customer. The ad gets the click; the page and the offer decide whether it pays.
